Obligación. Incluso para darnos ordenes a nosotros mismos. Siempre en presente.
I must to go now. (Yo lo he decidido así.)
Have to
Usos:
Obligación. Cuando las normas vienen de fuera (la ley u otra persona).
Se utiliza en todos los tiempos
I have to go school.
Mustn't (No puedes...)
Usos:
Prohibición.
I mustn't wear jeans at work
Don't have to (No hace falta que... no tienes que...)
Usos:
Algo que no es necesario que haga, aunque puedo hacerlo.
You don't have to stay school until you are 18.
Ought to/Ought not to: (Deberías...)
Usos:
Para pedir u ofrecer recomendaciones o consejos.
you ought to see the movie.
Should/shouldn't (Deberías...)
Usos:
Pedir consejos o sugerencias.

Allow somebody to / be allowed to: (Tienes permiso para... puedes...)
Usos:
Permiso.
Estructura:
Sujeto + allow/allows + pronombre personal objeto + to + verbo.
Our teacher allows us to use calculators.
Sujeto + am/is/are + allowed + to + verbo.
We are allowed to use calculators.
Need to (Necesitas... o tienes que...)
Usos:
Necesidad.
Estructura:
Sujeto + need + to + verbo.

Don't need to: (No es necesario que... o no necesitas...)
Usos:
No es necesario.

Can/could/ will be able to:
Usos:
Tener la habilidad de hacer algo
Tener permiso para hacer algo.
Diferencias:
Can se usa en presente. Could se usa en pasado (y es más cortés) will be able to se usa en futuro.
Estructura be able to:
Sujeto + will + be able to + verbo.
Sujeto + will + not + be able to + verbo.
